What Science Says About Smoking Pot Vs Smoking Cigarettes

Smoking Pot Vs Smoking Cigarettes: The debate continues over the benefits of smoking and using marijuana. Now, a sweeping federal assessment of marijuana research in the US is finding the negative effects to the lungs for those smoking marijuana are relatively small and lower than those smoking cigarettes.

While smoking cannabis may be less dangerous than tobacco to lung health, pot doesn’t get an entirely clean slate. Some health officials and antismoking activists also worry about inserting legal marijuana into the growing world of vaping, given uncertainty ease about the smoking alternatives.

Long Term Effects most states now do have legalized medical pot programs. Ten states and the District of Columbia have approved recreational use.
