Brewing Beer from Newater: It has created a new brand ‘Newbrew’ to bring innovation to beer production. There is no innovation in the name, look, and taste of this brand. Its product is also somewhat unique and innovative. This beer is brewed with water called ‘Newater’. This water is high-quality water treated from sewage and urine.

95 percent of the new brand’s products are made from NEWater. According to the company, it meets international safety standards and is as pure as beer production. Honey, barley malt, and yeast are added to the beer made with this water. Singapore has been experiencing water shortage for a long time. To face this, various strategies and awareness activities are being carried out by the companies in the country.

As part of that, it has created the brand ‘NEWater’. This company has been brewing beer in Singapore for over 20 years. This isn’t the first time beer has been made from waste. Many such new initiatives have been taken up in the country for awareness. The government of Singapore is making efforts to manage water under the name of the Blue Revolution.

While water management is a vital need of the country, the government is meeting 40 percent of the country’s water demand with recycled water. The government hopes this number will rise to 55 percent by 2060.
