New UAE Law takes action against those promoting pictures of drugs on garments, vehicles

New UAE Law: Individuals who wear garments or put stickers on their vehicles that show pictures of drugs, for example, the marijuana leaf, can be rebuffed under UAE’s new medication regulation.

Government Decree-Law No. 30 of 2021 on Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances incorporates a discipline for any individual who has items that show pictures or text empowering the utilization of unlawful substances.

The discipline can go up to a fine of Dh50,000 and in certain conditions, land violators in jail.

UAE police offices have cautioned against such shows, which might appear to be unimportant to certain individuals. Yet, they are illegal by regulation.

“Young people who watch such media can consume marijuana and different drugs multiple times more than the other people who didn’t watch such media,” he added.
